About Us

Caboolture Community Action Inc. (CCA) was founded in May 2009 to offer practical outreach, support and encouragement to people in the local Caboolture/Morayfield area who are experiencing extreme hardship, homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

We provide services such as those including food relief, housing assistance and referrals and more.

CCA is a NON-Government Funded, Not for Profit organisation managed entirely by volunteer staff.

Our Clients

Many of the people who access CCA services are extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community who are affected by a range of social issues.

Support Services

CCA has professional support workers who are able to assist community members who need emotional and practical support, in a safe, accepting, caring and non-judgmental environment.
These include but are not limited to:

  • Housing and Accommodation Support
  • Referrals to other appropriate agencies
  • Court Support
  • Crisis Support
  • Client Advocacy
  • Household goods

    • Additional CCA Services

    In addition to our support services, we also provide the following services:

  • Work for the dole host programs
  • Student industry work experience
  • Community service (incl. options for SPERS)
  • Client Advocacy
  • Housing Assistance
  • Court Support

    • CCA also serves the community as a drop-in center that provides breakfast and lunches for the homeless.

    Additionally, CCA also provides a place for the homeless to have a hot shower.

    Community Cook-Ups

    CCA provides 2 cook-ups per week for the homeless and disadvantaged community members.

    We meet at 5:30 pm and serve at 6 pm every Tuesday and Saturday at the CCA Centre (23 Hayes Street, Caboolture)

    Our menu includes an entree, mains and dessert as well as tea or coffee.

    This is a great opportunity to socialize and enjoy a healthy dinner.

    Sausage Sizzles

    To aid CCA in raising funds, we host sausage sizzles around the Caboolture area.

    CCA Op Shop

    The CCA Op Shop has a wide range of Clothing, Homewares, Kids toys, Books and more from as low as 50c per item.

    Opening Hours are:

  • Monday-Friday: 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM - 3 PM

    Pets In The Park

    Our free veterinary clinic (Pets in the Park) for those experiencing homelessness or at risk is on again at Caboolture Community Action On offer is free veterinary care, medication, flea, tick, heart worm prevention and food to those in need.

    Pets In The Park hours are from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and is located at CCA

    A referral is required.
